This was at both of my high school proms. No matter who you were or who you were friends with, every girl there was friends for the night, or nearly all of us were. We’d just compliment random people we didn’t know, talk on the balcony for an hour, dance together, etc. I’ve never had so many people say “I love your dress” before in my life lol

One time as a little kid, maybe 7 or so, I convinced my divorced dad neighbor to let me paint his nails pink (on his condition that the other had to be blue). It was a small thing but it was really special to me as I grew up without my own dad present

Probably my experience with trans women. I’ve known a lot of trans women and a lot of them have come to me for advice about makeup, clothes, ways to pass more etc. The fact that multiple women have felt safe with me- asking me the questions they were too afraid to ask otherwise? Something I’m extremely proud of.
