Realistically, you don't. The thing about love bombing is that you never really know until its too late. You can't truly tell if someone is being nice and caring because thats who they are or because they're trying to manipulate you. In the end if you do end up being love bombed, know thats never your fault.

What #1 said, but sometimes you can tell by how they respond to your boundaries and whether or not they’re trying to rush certain things

sometimes with love bombing, after a while they begin to give different levels of affection (like 50% then 100% the next day) to make you dependent on it! Peeping inconsistencies like that helps too
