Christianity is a lot more complicated than just doing good. But it’s mainly because of religious organization making so many different translations for the Bible and adding lots of random rules based on those. Unfortunately many Christian’s have beliefs that are based more on these religion ideas behind the Bible rather than what the Bible actually says.

Specifically one reason they are highlighting this profile. Is most Christian or Catholic religions strongly believe in sex only after marriage. And in the requirement of marriage in general. Specially believing good Catholics etc will get married and procreate (“as per the Bible”) So this guy is saying he goes to church. But he doesn’t want a serious relationship. Therefore he’s counteracting one of the main ideas in most religions which is an emphasis on marriage.

I was Christian until I read the Bible and learned what abusive parents look like. According to the Bible, God punished the children of sinners for their parents’ sins, instructed the Israelites to murder entire civilizations, and decreed that rape victims should marry their rapists. Among other things. The God of the Bible is a narcissist. Even if he’s real, I won’t worship him. He probably lied about heaven anyway.

If you shake your ass to strangers on Saturday and on Sunday go to church for your sins on Saturday you are a hypocrite and not actually religious and just using religion to make you feel better about your sins.
