The victim blaming is insane. She asked him to open up, and he did. Then she basically spat in his face with her response. And you’re blaming him for that? Imagine someone crying to you, of any gender, and your response is “I wish you had never done that”. You’re a pos for defending that.
That’s one woman and yeah that was shitty of her. But the expectation that men are not supposed to open up is a narrative created and spread by men. And when the standard male archetype becomes the unemotional man, some women and men alike will come to expect it of all men at all times. It’s up to you guys to stop calling each other “gay” or “bitch” for showing emotion first.
Every man I’ve been with has been 10x more emotional than me and I love being an emotional anchor for my male friends . I see now that you and your circle of society have been exposed to a lot of BS and I’m sorry for you. Have you ever considered that maybe conforming to certain standards and suppressing your emotions in a toxic form JUST because women don’t like it isn’t a healthy way to live? If you wanna be all macho then do it for you, not because that’s what women want.
I never called any guy “gay” or a bitch for showing emotions so why are you blaming me? Do you not realize your sexism painting all men with one brush? That’s like if I said all women are cheaters. Also if you know the ancient origins of why OTHER men told each other not to cry, that started because emotional men weren’t considered attractive, and still largely aren’t, as you see with the downvotes. They said it as advice to their sons so they wouldn’t get rejected. And so the cycle started.
I think the ancient origins stem from Greek mythology where only strong men who could commit extreme violence on enemies were considered valuable by other men. I mean look at the Illiad and Achilles wrath. Alas we don’t fucking know bc we are in 2026 so no one knows the “ancient origins” of toxic masculinity for sure lmao, it’s all just guesses. You just want to blame women
