i’m looking to get on some kind of birth control, any recommendations or suggestions? i’m kinda scared of the pill and its side effects :-(

I’ve been monitoring cycle, only doing the deed after clear signs of ovulation have come and gone, using condoms and pulling out. All that combined means significantly less than a 1% chance of pregnancy. Also thinking about other methods

I have an iud and I love her though it was really painful going in and it lasts like 7 years so

that’s what i’ve been doing, i guess i’m just nervous that something will go wrong even though i have all these safety measures and i feel like i need something else.

I mean it depends on your situation. Is the cost of pregnancy worth the added cost of further protection?

noted, one of my friends has an iud and said it was super painful which kinda scares me but i like the fact that it’s super long lasting
