Maybe i am the odd one out here but i really think the appropriate time is when you think you're ready. Everybody else's opinion is null. In my case, it was a toxic relationship of 5yrs ended and tbh him and i both were not attracted to each other anymore by that point. I hooked up 7 days after the breakup.

Unless you're having sex at an unhealthy level ORRRR getting into a relationship directly after, i genuinely don't think anyone's opinion abt who or when you choose to have sex with matters. Fuck public opinion & whatever your friends may have to say abt it
