Why is body positivity such a big thing for women but when it’s for men a lot of women don’t bother?

I’d say it’s because fatphobia disproportionately affects women, but I think the movement includes and should include men

Hypocrisy based off abuse from older generations of men this generation of women finally had enough and our generation of guys is paying the piper

Because as most oppression is rooted in patriarchy. Men have more power to change culture view of women but instead uphold it and then turn around crying about their insecurities. It’s frustrating because there’s actually a huge genre of women that’s re inclusive in body positivity for all gender. But a very small portion of men are inclusive with body positivity for all genders. Also due to patriarchy there is significantly less healthy research on women (look it up most tested rats are male)

Well just like the common woman has power to be positive to all body types men usually don’t. I don’t think it’s the fault of women for men’s body positivity. Tbh we can be as body positive as possible and men would still find an issue with it
