I don’t say this lightly but how serious was the threat? Like what level of authority can be considered based on the threat? Are you worried that blocking him will not be sufficient enough?

He started off with straight up calling me a man and I’m like oh hi do I know you he said yes and said and I qoute they told me you were gay when I told him I was a woman he was like, do you have a sister and I said who tf is they and do I know you he said yes again but wouldn’t provide more

Unfortunately there’s not much police are gonna do off of one incident on Snapchat, you know? Like even if they should 100% take it seriously, they won’t. Not yet at least which sucks but that really means the only thing you can do is just block them and hope it ends it
