I was jobless after graduating for about a year and had a bit of a mental breakdown, ended up scarring myself in multiple places (face, chest, junk) and now that I’m medicated I’m incredibly embarrassed by this. Do women care about scars?

Eh ive got some sh and general scarring too. If someone rejects you bc of that it wasnt meant to be. I dont think most women care though

I wouldn’t, I’ve never actually scarred myself but I get it. I’d second guess if if they were fresh and ongoing but you got help

I have scars too, I wouldn’t judge something like that

i’m a woman with sh scars so maybe i’m biased, but i don’t care at all, it’s just skin. but “i don’t care” as in you’re the same person before and after i found out, but i want you to be happy and safe in your own skin

Why would someone judge a scar from a sickness? Cancer scars aren’t judged (hopefully) and this isn’t any different. I wouldn’t care in the slightest if a man had some and I’ve been with men who have. Just shows how resilient and strong they are for surviving.

Depends on what the scars on your junk and face look like

And by second guess I mean if they should be in a relationship and if I should take that on myself, not that I’d judge in general
