You can be allergic to the proteins in their semen itself as well, or you can have reactions from your allergens that they consume (it’s not super common but it happens)

If you are always itchy from semen: there are things you can do to help reduce your allergic response! But if you are only sometimes itchy it might be something they are eating (in which case it might be easier for them to avoid the allergen like if it’s a long term partner)

You can get an allergy test done if you want to, not that it is super necessary or important to you.

The test is to find out what specific thing you are allergic to, because it might be something he is eating (which can be changed) or it might be the actual proteins in the semen and that’s unavoidable

I think you need a sample to test against but I could be wrong, I’ve never tested for it but my doctor had mentioned it was an option
