I have a lot of admiration for people who dance. It’s such an insane blend of art and sport and requires so much work.

Honestly, I may have to pick up yoga/pilates cause I am stiff as a board. How has doing yoga/pilates helped you?

I’m happy to hear that! A big motivator for why I want to get into yoga is the mindfulness aspect. I feel like it would help me mentally and physically.

Yes. On workout days sometimes. I keep my hard days hard and easy days easy. When I’m training for a race I prioritize the run first then the lift.

Ah ok cool. That’s interesting. Could you explain why you like keeping a hard day hard and an easy day easy?

For that reason. If you run hard on Monday and lift hard on Tuesday your body has to wait till Wednesday to recover. Recovery takes longer.

Ah thank you for explaining that to me! That makes a lot of sense!

I just got a new bike and am so excited to use it after work! What kind of biking do you like to do?

Just doing stuff alone the bike lanes at different parts of the city or the lake front trail can give you amazing views and be a good work out without the stress!

That’s pretty cool! I’m nervous to drive on some bike lanes because they are just painted and there isn’t a physical barrier in the way. Riding on the trail seems so beautiful!
