Do you wear a bonnet and spritz with water before bed?

Get some products ( leave in conditioner, a strong gel)

Aloe based hair gel helps me alot with this issue bc it doesn't dry it out but it holds

Um no. I know I should get a bonnet but I’ve never heard the water before bed thing

Is it a heavy product? My oil build up seems to pull them out quickly so I’m wondering if it’s the weight of the oil in my hair bc natural redheads tend to have oily hair

I found with mine the bonnet helps but a little moisture first makes a BIG difference. Also if your hair feels oily fast try switching to a weekly shampoo with Curl Smith moisturizing wash. The other days only rinse
