If I wanna leave my job because it sucks but I feel like I have to justify leaving it to other places i apply to because I don’t want to be viewed as job hopping, is it a good idea to lie about wanting to leave because of harassment of any kind?

No you should absolutely not make up a reason to leave especially one like that. If you have genuine reasons to leave, then put in your two weeks and start looking for other places immediately. If and when those other places ask why you left, bring up the issues in a genuine and mature way. Dont tell your new potential employers anything such as “ugh they were just annoying” or “they just suck”. Say something real such as “the management system was ineffective and harmed productivity”

You don’t need an excuse to leave the job. If you don’t like it after a few months, you out in your two weeks, and if they ask why, you say that the job wasn’t for you. That’s it

Inventing harassment so that I have an excuse to leave a job without being viewed as a job hopper. I’m scared that if I have to take a bad job I will have to stay a certain amount of time before seeking a good job because I will be viewed as a job hopper and therefore unreliable unless I have a good reason to leave a job after a few months.
