Why do Christian's feel the need to force it on me: ( my ex best friend tried to take me to court for stalking but in court said well it's because she's gay and it made me uncomfortable and she felt like she was called to do all that to get me to not sin

it’s part of their religion unfortunately to be evangelical, “spreading the gospel.” religions are self perpetuating systems, they need more people. conversion increases power and control.

Yeah it’s super creepy when some of them do that. My only guess is that it’s to spread the “correct” ideology. I had this one lady walk up to me when I was studying once and asked if I wanted a relationship with god, another time I had a longtime friend dip out on me when he learned I wasn’t baptized, the list goes on

This might be kind of crappy of me but nowadays I just pretend I’m a different denomination for shits and giggles, and try to make it awkward. Like if they’re Baptist I’ll say im catholic to see how annoyed they get. Telling them the truth that I’m an atheist never leads to a pleasant conversation for me.
