They are both terrible but I hate to be the bearer of bad news, one is distinctly worse than the other. Like there is no recourse for murder there is no coming back somebody is gone. Like the big 4 in order is murder, rape, arson, armed robbery. You don’t nearly go to prison for as long as you should for rape and that’s a problem we should fix.

Rape is worse because it is the only one that can NEVER be justified. Yes murder takes someone’s life permanently but who said rape doesn’t do that too? I know people with trauma who feel like they’ve experiencing death but are living with the effects of it.

Murder in my opinion can be justifiable, like in the case of a war or self defense. Rape is never justifiable

That’s not murder, that’s killing. Killing in self defense is never murder because you don’t sit and plan that shit out, murder is the distinct nature of intentionally planning to take someone’s life. And yes some people try to set-up self defense situations to give them the right to kill but they usually get caught case in point the husband and au pair currently on trial. Self defense ≠ murder; especially if you know the definition of murder.
