i have 2b hair that’s really frizzy and dry after five continuous years of dyeing, and i’m trying to look for a good moisturizing hair mask that will also help define my texture. my hair is super super porous and it loses moisture really easily. help 🙏

Best thing is to stop using heat (my fav “hair style” is to braid it after I sleep for curls). I use this hair mask and my fav shampoo and conditioner is Kristen Ess moisture rich

Im ngl, since its been so long your just gonna have to let your hair grow out then chop the damage. Theres no saving it. You can give your hair the illusion of looking healthy by reducing heat, protein treatments, moisture, but if you want your hair to be curly and defined and healthy your gonna have to cut the dead

i also have 2b hair and i use the mielle organic rosemary mint strengthening hair mask and similar to #1 i either braid it, put it in a bun, or heatless curl rods depending on what type of waves/curls i want and it looks great

Like, I just braided it for curls after I slept while I stopped using heat until my hair got a bit more healthy to maintain my natural curls

i haven’t ever dyed my hair though, except for getting highlights one time, so not sure what will help with that part
