I’m 21 and I work as a sales rep for a roofing company. I have a salary of $40,000 a year (about $630 a week) and I get commission. Is the money worth hating everyday of my life and being miserable? Would y’all trade off ur happiness for $stability?
Honestly? Mental sanity is more important for me. I’d look for a job while you are doing this one to see if you can find something that’ll make you happier

Btw, $40,000 is like $10,000 more than your average college graduate. I would KILL for this job

As an unemployed graduate. ABSOLUTELY! In a MF HEARTBEAT!

Sales jobs suck. If you hate it and you aren’t making at least 150k find something else that you like that pays the same. Or get a new sales job with a higher pay ceiling

Money buys happiness! Period! Money buys health! There isn’t a single thing in this entire world that more money wouldn’t improve for me.

Plus, a job is just a job. Ideally, one goes to work to finance things that ACTUALLY make one happy

Lowkey I like my sales job making like 100k (85k OTE but I’m pretty consistently above goal). It’s chill.
