It really depends on what the issue is. A lot of what I see on here makes it seem like their partner isn’t showing that they care or is blatantly proving they don’t love the op and there’s no point in trying to fix that

People can often exaggerate details like that when recalling a story from their own perspective, a partner can seem much more distant and apathetic when the only things someone tells you about them are times when they were distant and apathetic, which leads to most of us online defaulting to “break up with him”

That’s true, but also if it is true that they aren’t showing the person complaining about it that they care either, that is an issue. People do often complain when they are the most worried about something but also a lot of people will just silently deal with it for a long time until they bring it up and that causes extra tension and distance too
