It doesn't say how much older. There also isn’t an “around my age” option

Just bc we said older doesn’t mean we like big age gaps. Older literally just means “anything older” bc you gave 0 limits. 6 months older than me is still someone older. So I can still like someone older than me without them being a straight 30+ yr old

Just because some of us want to date someone a year or two older doesn’t mean we like the idea of 30+ year olds going after teenagers

That’s bc most of the women on here are in college and barely legal themselves so “younger” men are literal children…

Because most people who say they want to date bolder only mean 6months to a year right

29 people skipped vote and 1 person voted younger at the time of this comment meaning the numbers are off anyway. Being older could still mean a year or two. An 18 year old also may not vote younger because it makes it seem like they like minors

Do you know most women to know that we mean 30+?

Maybe be more specific instead of assuming

and a comment with "men my age" has almost as many upvotes as the older option

Like how you assume most women voted for a certain reason?

It’s a vague question there wasn’t a specific reason they just answered the question at large. You didn’t make specifics so you really have no room to make any generalizations

And a lot of us aren’t that old so saying younger could make us look like we date minors in which we do not

You mean like how you made a generalization of the people who voted “we’re”

Voted “we’re”? The vote was older or younger. There was no age limit. Otherwise you should have said “older than [age]”. Younger than [age]”. What I said wasn’t a generalization bc I’m not the one trying to make something out of literally nothing

You are speaking for others and assuming their intentions behind their vote you are generalizing others. You are free to cope though

OP you are generalizing, speaking for others, and assuming their intentions behind their vote. You reference how the women voted older, yet complain about age gaps. Those groups may not be the same people but you still make the assumption. You also don’t look at the reasonings other people offer, deciding to be sarcastic instead of curious. Nor do you see the surrounding situation, just the results in a void. That is not how data should be measured
