I want to be girly and cute so bad…I feel so masculine. (Born a female just raised as a tomboy) I feel so at a loss and empty. I’m always so envious of you all who effortlessly radiate cutesy girly energy
I mean tbf I have never met a girl for whom being feminine comes fully naturally. Femininity is in most aspects inherently a performance

Basically a really gritty girl. Like I played football with the boys. And I was super competitive, tackle em all. Dirt don’t scare me, got a scratch. Eh you won’t die carry on. Bug bug bug bug

Ok and how does that prevent you from dressing and being perceived as a woman

No Fr like I was raised like that too. I spent my childhood in the dirt playing with bugs and fighting people in the park and I was the glitteriest most skirt and pink wearing girl you’ll ever meet

I’m glad you had that privilege. Functionality over looks and wants was my child hood. I only was allowed to have “play clothes”

Well it’s never too late to explore femininity if you want to. Like I said it takes effort from all of us. It’s not a “natural” state exactly

I mean you can stop but girly play clothes though? Like why did it have to be masculine

Cheaper. Hammy downs. Typically made sturdier.

Fair enough. I guess even the hand me downs I got tended to be from other girls, and my dresses weren’t rly any less sturdy

My hand me downs were from my cousins. I was the oldest of seven.

My condolences. Not to shit talk your family but people like that piss me off SO much. A son cannot be that important that you push your family’s finances that hard
