I get uncomfortable with any mention of my body and like when someone tries to get to know me for who I am instead. Clothing, belongings, what I may be doing, listening to, things like that go a lot further.

Something less fashion related (seems gay and it won’t really open flirting well) like you’re pretty, cute, beautiful, etc. If it’s after class and they answered something you could comment how well they answered or how smart they sounded
