So this seems like a decent place to ask the question: How do you actually identify like whether you’re a top or a bottom? I have legit no idea and I thought I knew what they meant but I apparently don’t.

Typically a top is penetrating and bottom is taking. There are things like a service top and power bottom, and being a top doesn’t mean dominant and being a bottom doesn’t mean submissive. Though this really only applies to gay people

A woman is most likely taking and a man is penetrating. Because those people have different genitalia there isn’t really a need to ask top or bottom. Also it’s a bit confusing but a top doesn’t actually need to be on top. It’s just a phrase
