Still, “hookups” can be very emotional especially if consistent. a good friend would be sensitive and more empathetic then to turn around and date them. Her being upset should not some as a surprise. Strong and worthy friends communicate their feelings and boundaries rather than using a childish and subjective “girl code” to justify being a shitty friend. One the other hand, she should want you to be happy if jealousy is all that stands in the way.
