How important is it to agree with your partner on everything? My boyfriend has opinions on literally everything, from political to cultural to moral, and it's hard because it's humanly impossible for us to have the same view on EVERYTHING.

I think it’s good to disagree in some areas as you don’t want to date a yes man and never become a better person. That said there are some lines politically that are made sometimes that can tear apart a relationship. Like if my partner hated women I wouldn’t want to date him

i don’t think anyone in a relationship 100% agrees with everything their partner believes. as long as you guys agree on the “dealbreaker” things (will be different for everyone but like kids for example) then you should be fine

I know, which confuses me, because he loves anthropology and says that every living thing deserves to be protected because of its inherent right to exist, from endangered animals to habitats to ethnic groups to cultures and their unique dialects.
