Why are some friends so unsupportive when you tell them you want to lose weight or get in shape, they literally told me I don’t love myself. What is wrong with wanting to be healthy😭
I have the opposite problem. I don’t like telling people I’m trying to because they’re too supportive if that makes sense. A simple, “ah, cool. Good luck,” would suffice.

I just remind people that weight and health don’t have anywhere near as close correlations as many people think, and make sure that they’re losing weight because they want to and not because they feel they’re expected to
