I actually think it moreso has to do with women thinking most of their value comes from getting men to like them so when there’s a man who treats them like shit, it makes them want them more bc it’s like a challenge. I’ve never understood it but this is how one of my friends views it.. luckily I have a softie sweetheart lol but tbf he’s so nice because he’s been through some real crazy shit that changed his outlook on life so definitely realize that’s not normal
