Ok so it's really difficult to talk to people and make friends without the context of parties and drinking, does anybody know what to do about that? I've heard it's a really common experience but never had a real convo about it with someone who's past it.

Bc in college most of my friends loved to drink and party and I did for a bit but for the majority of college I hated it so I might be able to help bc I’ve been on both sides of the coin

in college right now. Sober me is just kinda awkward and quiet so it's hard to meet people yk

I know that sounds too deep, but what you are looking for is something that cant really be taught. Unless you really find a way yourself to develop true confidence, you are never really going to feel truly comfortable talking to people. Anything else is cope, or at the very least assuming in the context of this forum which I assume thats the case
