21yo male, have never dated. How do I start? I don’t want to be the guy who asks out a friend and makes them feel we were only friends because I wanted to date. I also don’t want to be the creep who walks up to women and makes them uncomfortable.

You can walk up to women and not make them uncomfortable! You can also ask your female friends to set you up with someone.

I guess I don’t know how to walk up to a women and not make them uncomfortable. Is there a specific way to do so that isn’t weird or creepy?

It’s actually really simple! Here are things you don’t do! Don’t: touch them unexpectedly, look at their boobs or ass, make disparaging comments about them. Do! Compliment them, call them beautiful or something along those lines. Do keep an eye on their body language. Do offer your number instead of asking for theirs.

I feel like an idiot asking, but where is it appropriate to do so? Obviously bars and raves, but where else? Like I don’t want to interrupt someone doing stuff.

My best suggestion is not at jobs, not where there’s clearly someone taking care of another (like a woman with a younger girl), I would suggest not gyms either.

Yeah of course it’s no problem. We really aren’t that scary- like at all.

I completely understand! My bisexual ass also has a lot of anxiety. Although I much more worry around men.
