I’ve only had a UTI once before in my life and I still lived at home then (diff country). Our healthcare system is diff so I was able to see my doc and get meds for it easy. I just got one for the first time here (USA) and I don’t know what to do?

you can go to a walk-in clinic and get prescriptions for it but it will probably cost you some money since its the US

So antibiotics which is probably what you’ll need (at least that’s what I think I was prescribed when I was found to have one some years ago) you can’t get over the counter here so you’re going to have to go get tested at an urgent care I think would be the easiest place. Then they’ll send your prescription to a pharmacy of your choice and you go get it, it’ll probably cost you but not too much. The urgent care visit may end up costing you a bit it’ll depend on if you have insurance, if you do

which one, etc. etc. But that’s going to be your process: go get tested at an urgent care so you can be prescribed the antibiotics, then go pick them up. Your costs will be of the medicine and of the urgent care visit.
