Easiest option would be to ask him what he’s up to next time he’s lingering, or ask if he has plans after class or smth. Less easy options are to take a really long time to leave class and see if he still waits until you show up. Or leave before him but DON’T LET HIM SEE that you’ve already left class. Then hide in a bush and observe
