i’m not like that personally, but my best guess is in their past experiences, guys have made them chase/beg and it made them want him more? so they think that’s how it’ll work even though it’s usually definitely not

That makes sense, but there’s def a difference between playing hard to get and putting a guy in a spot where they have to beg a girl just to keep talking with them.
