
I had the same fears, my advice is that you should make sure you’re healed and comfortable with yourself before you try. Really ground yourself with the fact that whatever happened with that person was between you and them, and every person moving forward deserves a fresh slate (easier said than done). Aside from that I would start small, don’t rush into anything and let it come naturally. Good luck!
Hi OP, think of it improv or how boxers train. Overtime seeing were you stand with others and how they behave will give you insights to where the crowd won’t scare the person doing improv nor a boxer be scared of a punch. Life and people will do things are fine and are not fine which does warrant a reaction. Thinking a lot about the reaction slows a person down in times that matter.
