that seems fine if you're both at school together

I find it strange that a 22 year old would want to date a teenager

If they’re both in the same stage of life (both in school or both at work) it makes sense. If the older one is in a professional job and in a completely different stage of life it’s a little odd and idk if they’d have much in common anymore.

i think it's fine. i was 19 and dated a 24 year old, however, i do deeply regret that relationship (simply because he was terrible & i wasted a year and my virginity — not due to the age)

Yeah I dated a 20yr old at 18. And he was one of my more positive partners. I regret dating him though because I wish I’d just experienced single college girl life for a while.

I think it’s a matter of being in a similar life stages. Especially before 25. There is something to be said for living single in the dorms though. It’s not about hookups or anything just not being beholden to anyone else’s plans. Or desires.
