Not a girl, but have some experience helping people w this. Abs are made in the kitchen, so counting calories/macros (carbs, fat, protein) is good to track goals and make steady progress. My Fitness Pal is what I use. For exercise start with walking & work up. Long walks are a solid calorie burner, but if you wanna get toned HIIT (high intensity interval workouts) is a good way to go. Recommend dropping some weight prior tho, can leave loose skin if you drop weight too fast I BELIEVE IN YOU

Moderation is key! Don’t stop eating foods you enjoy just because you are trying to be healthier. Consistency is absolutely key with working out. Don’t constantly push yourself past your limits, and listen to your body. If you are in pain stop.

No shame on that! I’m a student as well, eating well on a budget is hard. Highly recommend looking at your schools pantry and beans are a great source of food for cheap.
