Update: I sat with them in the hospital for all but the last 3ish hours of their stay. Barely spoke to me. Said she didn’t want to talk right now. She got home today, walked in the door and before even setting down her bags told me to leave. I’m broken

Keep in mind that she has to want it too. if you make any deals or smth like that in counseling to keep things together, just cause they’re in place, doesn’t mean that she’ll *necessarily* want to follow her end of the “bargain” so to speak. Don’t confuse genuine desire for obligated compliance. Difference is sometimes tricky. Really glad for you OP! All the best for your future 🙏
