Whoever asked for the date pays imo plain and simple. If you have an issue spending money on a first date you need to rearrange your priorities because you probably shouldn’t be dating

i disagree. i think the man should pay. im very traditional that way though, and it's also what im used too. i think throughout the relationship it can go back and forth but not on the first date. i pay for me and my bf sometimes but i would say most times he pays lmao.
