It’s a culture thing. Our mamas pushed us to thicker women our entire lives. I personally have a lovely petite girlfriend but my family really gives her shit for being skinny and I HATE IT

Well mathematically, black people are only 13% of the population, so unless they are intentionally only dating within their own race, there are a lot more non-black women for them to potentially date than black women. White women still constitute the majority of American women, so in a purely random distribution you would expect to see most black men have a white woman for a partner.

Black guys and white women is a thing in general. I see about 50 black man + white woman couples for every white man + black woman couple. No idea why

Because it’s kinda racist to say you “refuse” to date a specific skin color. You can have a preference towards one skin color / group of people over another, but saying you “refuse” is different.

So you had a bad experience with one person of a certain skin color and now you’re assuming that all people of that skin color are going to be bad in the same way solely based on them having the same skin color… there’s a word for that…

I mean that wasn’t actually in OP’s question. But also I’m not sure it’s actually lower, I think there’s just less attention on them. Because ‘black men with white women’ commentary often comes with the connotation of ‘they’re stealing our women’, whereas white men with black women rarely get discussed in the same way.

i think in certain countries its absolutely valid to not want to date someone of a different race, families can be weird, mixed kids is absolutely a factor, and its okay to not be attracted to a type of person, idk why you are being downvoted

This is so interesting cause I never thought about this, but trust when my mom sees a really skinny girl her first thought is “she needs some porkchops or a burger” (she needs to eat and gain some more fat)

Ik for a fact that’s not why she says it but I understand how it can be that other ppl. Not saying my mom wants everyone to be fat but she definitely wants like a good buffer of fat like average size over skinny
