I mean it can be platonic or not it just depends on context and how it gets interpreted. I’ve been complemented on my hair and thought completely platonic or didn’t think it was

Either I was oblivious, to anxious/depressed to think anyone would actually like me, didn’t like her, or it just felt platonic like idk perhaps saying it like “did you do your hair differently today?” Then when he says y/n responds “cool it looks nice” feels more like an observation but ymmv

gotcha, yea i think whether or not ur attracted to the person complimenting u plays a big part in how u take it thing is we arent close at all just worked together in class a couple times
