there was a campus police officer in south carolina who SA'd a drunk girl with whom he was tasked with taking home safely. this shit happens all the time. so i ask you why should women trust men? even the ones who r supposed to protect us?

No one should trust anyone until they know that person. I only trust people I know.

This a logical fallacy I just don’t know which one. Loaded Question? Hasty Generalization?

I mean men don’t trust men either, hence why the loneliness crisis disproportionately affects men

And women teachers have raped students, why should I trust women with children

At this point we’ve given you the reasons thousands of times. If you wanna demonize half the human race for no reason that is entirely your prerogative.

I don’t think you should inherently trust anyone. You get to know people and take a leap of faith. I’ve been hurt by men and women but that won’t stop me from letting new people in— it just gives me more signs to look out for.

But imo if a specific person treats a group with hostility and coldness when meeting them, then why would they ever want to associate with you

Specific woman (or man) doesn’t trust/associate with men (or women) in turn will have a cycle where people are shunned out and less community/less diversity/less progress towards a society where we can move beyond it

while i see what you're saying, this isn't really all that comparable. since a teacher raping a student involves grooming, which means there was multiple times boundaries were broken that should've altered other people. with a cop you are literally told to trust them and that they are here to help in situations like this.

Not that I disagree with your point, there are just better ways to make that point. When handling issues like this syntax and tone are huge

You don’t have to trust men, we just don’t wanna be demonized as a whole by the actions of the deplorables

This ☝️. “You will know them by their fruits.” Meaning, each person is their own person. You judge each individual by what you know about them, what you’ve seen with your own eyes, heard with your own ears. Build your map of reality based off your observations of peoples behavior, not what’s reported. (Not that the thing you described did or didn’t happen) but that’s the deceptive trick of division, getting you to fear entire groups, then they switch the group, rinse and repeat.
