I have a serious question for any men who are tech savvy, I’m looking to get GIS certified. What PC should I get? rn I have a MacBook Air I used for college and I don’t think itll work for this purpose.. but maybe it would IDK

use guacamole!!! It’s an app that lets you screen share a computer in a lab that has ArcGIS from your laptop! The only thing is it may work a bit slow but not insanely slow. - an envsc major whos senior thesis heavily involved GIS

IDK if I need to learn arc for what I’m going into, I’m going into conservation but probably would be good to have that capability.

going into conservation you will either use arc or qgis. with early career conservation jobs typically being seasonal for your first few years you will probably use arc at some point

It’s not just screenshare though it’s interactive so you can use it
