Guy to guy, I need motivation to work out. I’m overweight and have stretch marks all over. I hate living like that and want to change.

You are hiding from the man that you want to be and are intended to be by feeding your flesh and mind with temporary self gratification. Take the leap of faith and you will learn that feeding your mind and body junk is only an illusion. I struggled with the same thing.

Get a personal trainer. Biggest difference of my life. It helps when there’s someone you need to prove your progress to

If you wanna see a change in yourself, you gotta make a change in yourself. You don’t like where you’re at right now with your body, but you have the power to do something about it

Start small and build your way up to making it a habit and planning your day around it. Today make it a goal to do just 10 pushups, even an easier variation works if you can’t do normal ones rn, once you’ve done that go on a walk. Tomorrow, double it. Then start going to the gym. If you see yourself do the little things it builds momentum and teaches you it’s not hard at all. Go to the gym with a friend, turn it into a hang out session and keep tabs with eachother on goals for accountability

What helped you stop? What motivates you to go to the gym and get that discipline?

Honestly when u work out u feel healthier and better in ways you couldn’t even understand currently. My normal for many years was hours of working out for sports but I had to get surgery so I didn’t workout for a while and I felt like crap.
