It means that while women could have like support groups and safe houses for victims, guys don’t really get that treatment at all.

The difference is men are literally doing it to themselves by committing 97% of violent crimes, it’s is uncommon to have women killing men or women but everyday husbands are killing their wives, not the other way around

And who commits 97% of violent crimes, homicide is the leading cause of death in pregnant women, AND according to the council on criminal justice website women are now just as likely as men to be victims of violent crime.

“Have it worse” is obviously a completely useless and subjective statement, but the oppression that women face in many parts of the world is undeniable. There are areas where women are still considered property, and in many muslim countries they aren’t allowed to own anything on their own or get a divorce. Wife beating is still common practice in way more of the world than you think. I don’t know where you’re pulling this 4.5 number from, but saying real violence is “overplayed” is moronic.
