I highly recommend installing Linux Mint on it. It’s a completely free alternative to MacOS, and it’s super user friendly.

Sadly that’s apple’s business model… every software update has likely been making it worse so you’re forced to buy a new one.

It takes up less space on the device, and it runs much more efficiently. It’s perfect for older laptops, especially macbooks
