You don’t have to like them or use them, but I think the other commenters are overreacting. It’s just another avenue to meet people, and if you hold to your standards then what other people want shouldn’t matter as much

Well it’s one of two obvious things. Are you horrible and/or slimy? If not, then it’s prob just totally normal dating-app culture shock because those apps kind of are inherently weird and uncomfortable and being under a microscope for legions of horny strangers to pass judgment on takes some getting used to
