Where do I go for mental health help I’m not suicidal Ive just been sad everyday consistently since 2023 and I want it to stop the only thing that makes me temporarily happy is drinking alcohol which I only do on weekends and is not a long term solution

If you are still a university student, there is usually free mental health services through your school’s student portal

I would recommend journaling and meditation. There are good resources online to get u started

thank you for treating your mental health seriously! As what 2 said look into ur university resources or even consult your primary care physician for recommendations. something that is more of an immediate fix is the national mental health hotline 800-950-6264! men's mental health is important and its starts on a personal level!

Therapy does not work for me it makes me feel worse after I just wish there was medication or something I could take

I’m not just talking about therapy, if you want medication, make an appointment with a psychiatrist through your student portal, that way it’ll be free

there are many different kinds of therapies and therapists. it isn’t one thing.
