
1. Difficult to answer because any number of factors can contribute to men joining the incel/manosphere culture. I’d say it’s a mix between a lack of parenting/parental involvement but also a perceived failure in men’s rights/equality for men. Misogyny and misandry are two sides of the same coin imo, they feed into each other. 2. Even with certain influencers like Andrew Tate, a minority of men would truly be a (very vocal) minority imho. But that’s just my two cents.
A lot of resentment and grievances with how women approach dating & treat potential partners are often lazily/hastily dismissed as rejected incel whining. Which teaches them: a) they must get laid in order to escape that category and earn the basic respect and credibility that sex-havers afford each other. And b) that women are determined not to acknowledge their own role in the state of dating and their toxic behaviors will only worse. Then that desperation+resentment create a vicious cycle.
