Men only want to date bc we’re lonely or we want to get married. Feeling wanted satisfies the loneliness. If he thinks ur cute but ur probably not wife material, then he won’t pursue it any further than validation (getting you to want to go on dates with him) It is rude but so is dating someone you don’t see a future with. Honestly I love coffee dates cuz u never really know until u talk to them. Idk it’s more logic than emotional and that can seem cold. I say move on and find someone better
