ive noticed a pattern of men wanting to call while they’re on the game. is this kinda like a form of quality time? we’re literally otp rn and he’s just playing the game and talking to his friends. i asked if he wanted to talk later but he insisted
on talking. i just find it a little weird cause it’s not like we’re actively talking. he’ll say something to me every few minutes but what’s the point in being on the phone if he’s playing with his friends?

This week while playing video games or driving I’ve called: both sets of grandparents, my parents, and 3 friends, two of which were unrelated to the game itself.

He thinks it’s going fine—he doesn’t notice the long pauses because his attention is occupied by the game, giving him the illusion that not much time is passing between responses. He is not considering the quality of your experience and you should talk to him about this
