Ya know I think I actually don’t wanna date women anymore if they care this much about money 🤔

I tried that and I ended up working too much to have time for anything else

That's valid asf but think it's a life stability thing because you really can't have financial stability anymore at a lower wage

We care because stability matters. It’s not the only thing, but if you can’t provide when I’m sick or pregnant then why would I feel secure with you? Like I seriously don’t I understand why y’all think women should tolerate a broke man to prove something

Work in a country club where you’re surrounded by idiots and giving the tiniest bit of effort seems like 110%

But are you making enough money to justify that ego? This only makes sense if you’re making significantly more than the man

There’s a difference between not wanting a broke man and having money being a big part of why you like a man

Not really. Because not being with a broke man sorta automatically means that money is a big part of it. Sorry, 🤷‍♀️but as adults finances matter in life. Relationships can’t thrive if one of you doesn’t have their money situation together. Among infidelity, it’s one of the biggest causes of breakups for a reason lol. Bottom bottom line if you don’t make enough to support a family then I don’t want you. I want a man that does. It’s simple logic that you guys choose to take personally all the time

I don’t know why you’re getting downvoted for speaking the truth, this is entirely the reason I’m in business and not game development in college

In heterosexual relationships, men have traditionally been the bread winners and providers of their relationships up until recently. Women shouldn't have to make a certain amount of money to ask for financial stability.

If a guy is making enough to support himself and working hard for it, that’s all that should matter. Anything more is gold digger behavior, sorry 🤷‍♂️ Just like women are more than sexual objects, men are more than wallets

That’s your opinion. I disagree entirely with that first part though

"If you don't make more than me you should lower your standards and accept my financial instability for us and our child, otherwise it's a show of ego"

women just can't fucking win 😂 either you're a gold digger with an ego for wanting a breadwinner or you're expected to be pregnant *and* in a high paying job while he wins little to no bread. and men wonder why women aren't interested 🤔

Hear me out, if a man is working and makes enough money to support himself, great. That’s one thing. But if you’re looking to settle down and start a family shouldn’t you make enough to support said family? My man works hard so I don’t have to 🤷‍♀️ that’s family man mentality babe. When I worked, it was because I WANTED to. When you s/o becomes pregnant, who’s supposed to carry the household?

They shouldn’t have to, but it’s highly hypocritical to say “women shouldn’t tolerate a broke man” if you don’t have more money yourself. Why should a man tolerate a broke woman?

leading question. nobody is saying a man should "tolerate" a broke woman. if you want a woman with a high income keep your standards up buddy 👍

also what a funny question. women aren't the ones being rejected on the basis of income. why don't you tell us why men *are* tolerating broke women? it's not complicated

You can have financial stability at a lower wage, you just have to have a restricted lifestyle to live within your means. And no one who’s had a better lifestyle wants to sign up for a downgrade.

I feel like the big question here is the definition of “broke” and “enough to support a family”. For a lot of young women the definition of broke seems to be “any guy who in his twenties doesn’t make enough money to give me everything my dad was able to afford to buy for me in his fifties”
