You mean like a soft dom?

i feel like normal dominance is just taking charge in the dynamic, but the "soft dom" is still in charge, while being very caring about the "submissive" person in the relationship/dynamic. it's kind of like how (good) parents guide their kids and discipline them while still showing love and gentleness. i feel like in relationships, it often entails a mixed salad of passion, care, respect and some leadership/authority. this was a confusing question so hopefully this answers it 😭

Could you clarify the negative tendencies for normal dominance? It’d help in being able to give a reply! :)

i just meant like..i don’t like men who are just super aggressive, mean, inconsiderate..think you’re supposed to just bow to them or else. i rlly was just trying to see if there was a different way to be dominant but without the negative tendencies- or if negative was the only way

i feel like that's narcissistic/insecure dominance. healthy dominance looks a lot different
